The Comptroller General, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Dr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi praised the Nigerian Navy for renovating classrooms at St. Stephen’s Primary School and installing a solar-powered borehole in Modakeke, Osun State.

The CGC commends the Chief of the Naval Staff’s Quick Impact Project, which aims to strengthen ties between the military and civilians.

Adeniyi also praised Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Idi Abbas for installing a 10,000-litre solar-powered industrial borehole in Isale-Ope, Modakeke.

Adeniyi expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you very much, CNS.”

The intervention was organised in honour of Modakeke-born Rear Admiral Akinola Olatunde Oludude, Chief of Policy and Plans at Naval Headquarters, to strengthen peaceful coexistence and civil-military relations between the Modakeke and Ile-Ife communities.
