JUST IN: Nigeria Customs Wins Gold Award for Excellence at Commonwealth

The Nigeria Customs Service (NSC), under the able leadership of its Comptroller – General, Dr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has won a Gold Medal Award.

The Service, an investigation by Spynews revealed, won the award today, Friday, July 31, 2026, at the COMMONWEALTH ENVIRONMENT & CSR AWARD ceremony.

The award, findings have shown, was presented to the Nigeria Customs Service during a carbon-neutral presentation ceremony held at the Bargeddie international hub, Glasgow, Scotland.

The Golden Award was presented to the Service by the Founder/CEO of The Green Organisation, Roger Wolens.
